VENICE: THE QUEEN OF ADRIATIC - VOLENDO VIAGGI

Venice is a well-equipped tourist destination to enjoy the outstanding vacation with family and friends. It welcomes the tourists from all over the world to spend the exciting days here. This place has many leisure activities and unique water sports to offer you for the entire day to spend each and every moment full of joy and entertainments. Plenty of nightclubs are here to enjoy the memorable night with rocking music, dance parties, cocktail drinks which last untill late night specially during the tourists season to enjoy the best vacation here that will recall them to visit here again for every vacation period.
Venice has been a fabled destination for centuries. Just the name Venice is enough to conjure up a host of images, even for those who have not yet set foot in Italy: gondoliers in striped jerseys, the Rialto and the Bridge of Sighs, masked balls, golden barges, courtesans in gondolas and crumbling palaces facing streets made of water. The western world's most famous figures visited Venice, marvelled at the gold mosaics of St Mark's, admired art in churches, explored the city's maze of canals (or, in Byron's case, swam in them), and then proceeded to preach.

CLASSIC TOUR: ST MARK’S SQUARE (2/3 HOURS)

Political, religious and cultural heart of Venice, St. Mark’s Square was once described as “the world’s finest drawing room”. It is surrounded by some of the most important buildings of Venetian architecture history. St. Mark’s Basilica, also known as the golden basilica for its glass mosaics covered in gold leaf, was the Doge’s private chapel. It is an unusual combination of Eastern-Christian art and decorations of Muslim, Byzantine and gothic origins. The Doge’s Palace, seat of the Republic’s ancient governments, was built between 1300 and 1400 in flamboyant gothic style, while the decorations of the institutional rooms dates from the end of 1500 and celebrate the might of Venice, whose glory was allegorically depicted by Veronese on the ceiling of the Sala del Maggior Consiglio
